  • New Wakeboarding Trick Tip Iphone App

Adam Dodd Motion Pictures, a company with a long-standing presence in the sport of wakeboarding and in the action sports world, is pleased to announce the fruition of their latest project, a wakeboarding instructional video application titled, Wake Trick Guru. The app is based around video clips of pro wakeboarders doing tricks accompanied by voiceovers explaining how to do the tricks and the first of its kind for the sport of wakeboarding available for the iphone. The app is a free download and at present has four free video files that can be downloaded which will be added to as the apps content is added to.

"Without spending any money though, users can access a lot of information from the world of wakeboarding," says Adam Dodd, the application's creator. "Users can find the wake store, school or park that is closest to them, get direct access to pro rider blogs awebsites, download free wallpapers, see pro event schedules and even win nice things in our regular giveaways."

The app's creator also says, "We are trying to get all of the businesses listed to give our app users a discount of 10% when they mention that they found them though our app or they contact them via our direct emailing facility in the app. Pro Wake in Australia is the first to do so and we are excited that they are offering this. Companies are charged a very small annual fee to be listed in the app but we have included some key companies just for the release for free, businesses will be approached as time goes by to build the app's free content. Any business wanting to be listed should contact me," says Adam.

Video clips are sold in bundles of four for US $1.99 at present and they currently feature riding and instruction by Daniel Watkins, Amber Wing, Dean Smith, Cobe & Tarah Mikacich, Jeff Langley, Erik Ruck, Adam Errington, Sean O'Brien, Chris O' Shea, Josh Sanders, Scott Broome and Sam Thompson just to name a few.

Tricks are broken up into three categories; beginner, intermediate and advanced and there are two other folders that will contain clips for the total novice giving boating for wakeboarding and wakeboarding 101 instruction.

"The app will evolve with time and users can request tricks to be covered if they dont find what they are looking for. The most requested tricks will be covered and made available for purchase," Dodd remarked. "Now that we have the app out, we are working hard on enriching the content and getting more clips ready for sale." An ipad version is on its way and will be available in early 2011 and an android version is on the drawing board also.

The app has a dedicated website at waketrickguru.com which contains one of the apps free video clips so people interested can see what the video clips are like. It can also be found on Facebook and the iTunes Preview Page.
