The presence of the Minke whale shows that whales are intelligent and inquisitive by nature and when they see something different in the oceans of the world they want to see what it is. I have witnessed this myself while on a sailboat near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico when a whale swam alongside the sailboat for more than three hours and allowed people to touch it as it was that close to the sailboat. We were all enraptured by the experience and it was the crowning point of anyone's experience with a whale and the pictures I have I treasure to this day. I have a strong feeling toward protecting the whales of the world and I want Japan to stop killing whales just so wealthy people can have blubber to eat. This is a waste of the largest mammal in our oceans and we will all miss the whales were their populations to be reduced to a point where they can't recover and produce enough young and prevent their species from becoming extinct. We humans are the protectors of the whale and there is no one else to protect them. Will you help protect them and put pressure on the nations who support whale killing to foster a ban on the killing of any whale by any nation. Greenpeace takes a stance and puts their boats between themselves and the whales and the boats that are trying to kill them and risking their lives to do it. Greenpeace needs the support of everyone as were they to not have the support their mission to protect the whales of the world will not succeed and the whale population will be depleted much more than it has been. The time is now. Will you please help by donating to Greenpeace. I thank you and so do the whales.
