Founded nearly 5 years ago by songwriter/guitarist RAS, QWIKSAND is a melting pot of life experience, passion and heart. With songs about drama free good vibes, chilling with beautiful souls, and living life to the fullest, QWIKSAND has continued to build a following across the country with a fresh California sound that makes you feel alive. Over the past 12 months, QWIKSAND has toured through 50 US cities and has also been featured in international surf films and videos. The band has continued to crossover at (college, festival, age 21+, all age) venues across the western and midwest regions and is booking national dates registered with Pollstar. * QWIKSAND WINS BATTLE OF THE BANDS - December 17, 2008 - QWIKSAND won 1st Place in the Finals on Dec. 17th and also took 1st Place in the Semi Finals on Dec. 3rd and 1st Place in Round 1 on Nov. 12th.
