yes rescues cost, but so does wii, x-box and playstation. which is where most of our youth go for adventure and thought on the "OUT OF THE BOX THINKING". the ones that want to do something with their lives, (Abbey) they do, instead of sitting and squating on their hind end instead of their hind legs. i'm 60 yrs old and worn out alot. because i have done, went, thought for myself, was allowed to dream and seek a vision i had no idea what even looked like. some for myself, and some for my community. when i get to see the LORD in heaven and not here, i want to be worn out and be able to drop this shell because it is worn out. i have no desire to die in bed, sipping pin'a coladas in a hospital. i'm a doer/goer. not a squatter. as you said shadowz "go girl GO". leave the sitting for those that have no vision of somethign different or better. for themselves or their world. gain was made by people who flung off their chains and looked forward. take the leap. i don't recall anyone asking for payment for any fire or any rescue they did, in service to our communities. now Government might want to charge people for those rescues, I don't think so!! i think they need to ask forgiveness to the folks for insulting the rescuers for trying to charge for what we do. we do it for the folks. the people. how about our soldiers? they are the same risk takers. they want something better for their famlies, their friends and their country. many people do not understand. not about money, it's about going forward and being better today than yesterday. taking care of family, insureing their chance to dream and do. look for something better. my hats off to you abbey, and our troops for not sitting and waiting for someone else to do it. GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't quit. each day holds something new if you want to try. but you have to want to first.
