We use a bungee system that shoots us upstream at 30 mph. You use the currnet of the river to "Load" the bungee.

Imperial Board Lords in Farmington. We have been in business for 4 years now. Won the award for best new Summer Sporting goods product at the worlds largest sporitng goods trade show(ISPO). Now we are just trying to spread the word. NOthing better than surfing on a river on a hot Summer day!

We have quite a few guys who can stand and ride. Our best riders are on the American River in Sacramento and on the Snake River in Jackson Hole, Wyo. Rivers are everywhere though, so I hope we have good riders all over the world someday.

there is one in Munich, Germany as well, standing wave about 2 feet tall, pretty sick...should be some video on youtube under "eisbach" or something...

This is NOT standing wave surfing. This is Riverboarding. We shoot upstream at 30 mph and can do all kinds of boardsport tricks.

It's really more like Skimboarding, wakeskating or Surfing. We can do any of the tricks that wakeskaters do. But we don't need a $40,000 boat or $4 a gallon gas.
