dude seriously take care of it. You never real heal any ligaments you just kinda get used to them again over time but they never really heal completely and they take forever to heal. Ive had both my ankles blown out at the same time. Imagine that shit.

Rough man. Mine is jacked right now too. I'm also a semi-pro soccer player and I got the crap kicked out of my ankle. I suggest that you watch videos... a lot of them. Even though I haven't been skating, I think watching videos very attentively has really helped.

Start skating switch. The same thing happened to two of my friends, they both basically switched stances. You wont have to pop with your injured foot, it might hurt at first to flick, so then learn shuv variations till you can flick. And the good thing is your still skating, and hey!; It's switch.=]

solution - sell everything you have including organs and buy a pair of those new things that they are gonna have in 2012. i think they are called like bionic legs or something. dont quote me.

Yeah, if you need to rest for a few weeks and you cant skate. What you can do is either 1. Try (but I dont think that makes any sence, since your muscle ripped off the bone) 2. You could go with your friends and film them or provide moral support. Whatever you do, dont stop hanging out or going to spots. You can still be an awesome guy, even without skating all the time. Like when I broke my leg, I always went to spots to film or hang out. and when your finaly over your surgery, start slow and have fun. Dont try to push yourself to your old level, cause you just can't. I tried doing that, after I broke my leg and it was pretty tough. I needed to start slow, but when you'r finally back, you can probably do everything again :]
