"ryan sheckler is prolly the biggest baby skateboarding has ever known. why dont you go cry on tv while your daddy buys you houses and you have everything made for you because you are rich. . . people should idolize skaters who come from the underground with absolutely nothing and work their way up into the big time. Not someone who has their own tv show about how he is having problems with girls or his friends. . ."

  • Eric Koston (RED) Girl Deck

    http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31iblxvllRL._SS400_.jpg

    In
his attempt at making a difference, Eric Koston teamed up with Girl
Skateboards and artist Andy Jenkins to create this limited edition
(RED) skate deck. We're all dedicated to making a difference in the
world and what better way to contribute than through skate? That's
what makes this deck an Editor's Choice selection.

Click here to make a difference and get your hands on Koston's (RED) deck.

    More about (RED):
(RED) is not a charity or campaign. It's a brand that empowers people
to do what they normally do, shop, and do good at the same time. Of the
33.2 million people in the world living with HIV/AIDS, Africa is home
to 22.5 million of them. And yet it takes just around 40 cents to buy
the two pills a day someone with HIV in Africa needs to stay alive. To learn more about (RED) visit

  • Krooked Zip Zinger Wheels

If you're lookin' for a great set of wheels to cruise around on, these are for you. While they don't have the best traction on wet surfaces they do provide a heavenly ride any other time. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for your cruiser board.

  • Lakai Fully Flared DVD

    http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/ciu/5a/46/c74e81b0c8a08875e6ebb110._AA240_.L.jpg

This is a video that will sell. If skateboard companies are all bummed on their videos not selling and YouTube costing them money, put out a video with the same production quality as Lakai's Fully Flared and it won't be an issue.

If I was going to be a crybaby, and I am, I could only complain about the length. The video was long. There was just too much amazing skateboarding. I'm sure I'll love that once I have the DVD and can choose how much or how little I want to watch. But sitting down and watching some 80 minutes of anything can make a dude bored. I wouldn't mind trading in 5 of Marc Johnson's 15 minute part and adding it to Eric Koston's 5 minute part either.

In the end, the video was stellar and everyone WILL buy it.

  • eS Square One

    http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31xX3mTX0ZL._AA280_.jpg
The Square One is my favorite skate shoe at this point. It's a new
twist on an old favorite. It's my last favorite shoe, the Accel, on a
vulcanized sole and it's perfect. It's a simple but durable shoe and it
looks good. It skates great and last long. They come in about 8
different colorways so I'm sure you can find one that's totally going
    to get you chicks.

  • Independent Trucks - Gunmetal 149mm

    http://www.skateboard.com/media/skateboard/photos/productreviews/indyblack.jpg

I've been skating Independent trucks for awhile. I recently upped my board size to the 8.25" variety. I liked the deck size a lot but my trucks were the 129mm's so I needed a bigger set of trucks. When I went down to my local shop, I couldn't resist the 149mm Gunmetal Independent Trucks. They looked rad and I figured they'd grind smoother too.

I swapped out my old bushing to avoid breaking in the new ones and I was psyched. They really did grind smoother on my normally sticky local miniramp coping. I'm sure they'll be the same as the regs once the paint wears down, but it's instafun right out the box. There's really not much more to say here. Independent trucks never let down and are always a solid choice.
