At a very young age my brother showed me a newspaper, that was being put down for the cat the eat on, that had an article about Muhammad Ali knocking Jerry Quarry's eye brows off in their first fight. Then there he was in the barber shop a few days later. In 2001 I say him in Hollywood down the street from my office. There was a big crowd around the BMW he sat in on the passenger side as his daughter shopped inside of one of the clothing shops. She came out of the shop and was freaked out by all the people around the car and said "get away from the car!" I was not that close to the car but when the mostly foreign tourist backed away I became the one closest to the car. She look around and her eyes landed on me and ask "can you watch him?" I said okay. So for about 15 minute I became Muhammad Ali's body guard. I handed pieces of given to me by admirers for autographs and handed them back.
