    Sesitec System 2.0

Since we touched on The Projects Wakeboard Camp, I thought it would be fitting to tell you a bit about Sesitec's System 2.0 for today. As I wrote yesterday, the System 2.0 is up and running at the Projects for everyone to go check out and ride behind. The good news is that if you dig it, you don't have to make frequent trips to Orlando, you can set it up in your backyard. Let me ellaborate.

Sesitec's System 2.0 is the latest in cable riding. The System 2.0 runs a straight line course, point A to point B and then back to point A again (continuing this course until your arms can't take anymore). Similar to the cable park or a chair lift, the end of the cable runs through a pulley system. Once a rider reaches an end of the line, they edge out and their buddy will initiate the turn around in the pulleys. The difference with the 2.0 compared to the cable is that the 2.0 is fixed to the top of a ladder setup, making the entire system portable. This means you can finally shred that retention pond gap in the back of your farm land.

Not only is the System 2.0 going to take riding to new locations, it will take your riding to new heights. With the 2.0 a rider is able to load the line, similar to regular cable riding, only a bit easier. By shortening the handle height, air tricks become a lot easier to learn and practice than at the cable. I feel confident that with the 2.0 the wake industry will see a lot less injuries due to drunk guys on Sunday Funday trying to prove themselves with raleys behind the boat. Instead, these boys will learn raleys behind the 2.0 and make the smooth transition to raleys behind the boat.

Still confused? Red Bull Wake Lab would be something for you to check out for more details, the entire event is run with System 2.0. Or ride it at The Projects. Or check out Sesitec's totally rad website, www.thewakeparkproject.com

If you still don't get it, just quit trying to understand and follow the trend.
