And For those people who think motocross is just about pushin your thumb, turning, and jumping...We have news for you. Motocross is way more than JUST that. We have to worry about staying in shape, so we can hold on to the bike and stay stronger, longer. We crash, we have to suck it up, get up, and work our way back through the pack. Motocross racers, have no fears whatsoever. All of us are jumping 110 foot triples...and jumps that we know if we come up short we're done for. We don't give up. We don't quit. Just because we love the sport so much. Motocross racers dedicate their lives to this sport. We do this sport because we love it and we cannot live without it. It's in our blood. We get on that gate, our hearts pounding, and all we think is... I have got to win. Everything more. Nothing less. We want that Holeshot, and to be first into the turn. We all realize we could die doing this sport. But we all take that risk and just keep moving on. Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or even a year but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit however, it lasts forever. That surrender, even the smallest act of giving up, stays with me. So when I feel like quitting, I ask myself, which would I rather live with? And I say to myself….. I WILL NOT BACK DOWN
