"I just paid $23.57 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $675 which only cost me $62.81 to buy.
Here is the website we use to get it all from : http://BidsBit.com"

  • Los Angeles Skim Contest

Los Angeles has been having the best contests this year. Okay, so they're not REAL contests on the UST or anything, but they have been the most fun for those who showed up and I'm starting to take pride in that. It's important to have the UST type events AND the little local events where skimboarders can do as much as get their name out in the sport. The UST events should be all over the world anyway, like France, Brazil, Australia, etc.

The recent Escondido Beach skim event went down in the most lax way and it was a great, long day of skimming. There was more free skimming to be had than heat skimming, and dudes from all over LA showed up. Hotdogs were grilled up and the vibe was on point. The waves got better and better throughout the day and people stripped themselves of their wetsuits and trunked it by noon time.

In the LOCS (or AMS) division, Denis B took it home by wrapping them up and getting some of the better waves. Morgan B went switch and clocked some other good rides to land in second. In the "PROS" division. Guest skimmer Kevin King would surprise everyone by beating Taylor Cadiz for third. Exile skimmer pro dude guy Aaron Fujimoto skimmed a rather dry but good heat to land in second. And the guy typing all of this sh!t took first.

Best time ever. Can't wait for more of these. And can't wait for more LA skimmers to wake up! Get outside and get involved! If not for the sake of skimboarding in LA then for the hotdogs....
