"I just paid $23.57 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $675 which only cost me $62.81 to buy.
Here is the website we use to get it all from : http://BidsBit.com"

  • Jared Chilko Bike Check

Dig is on a roll. Jared Chilko, whom I'd recently written a blog about, has a bike check over on DigBMX and it's another sweet looking bike. I, like many within the BMX internet world, don't like the fact that he extends his bars, not because 29" is too wide, I don't care. That's personal preference, but why does he have to use crank spacers to extend like an unsponsored teen?

This bike is awesome though, maybe not so much for me, although it is a superior set up. Keep in mind, however, that he's only sponsored by Superstar and a clothing company, which means he pays for all the non Superstar products like tires, cranks, wheels and grips. Don't forget to check out the new video of him from Superstar on Grind. It's in my past blogs...

If you weren't already aware of it, Jared recently made the switch over to the Superstar team. Check out his new bike:

    NAME:
    Jared Chilko

    Sponsors:
    Superstar bmx and Meloncholy clothing

    Your height?

    5' 9"

    Frame: Superstar New deal (21"tt)

Fork: Blade LT (Tree bike co. headset cap)

Bars: Superstar Sweet Sweep (8.3 rise extended to 29 wide)

    Grips: Fit Eddie

    Bar ends: Superstar threaded

    Stem: Superstar Revolt (53mm reach)

    Brake Lever: none

    Brake: none

    Seat: ECCD

    Seat Post: Thomson Elite

    Clamp: Strawberry internal

Cranks: Profile Race (Titanium axle and hardware)

    Sprocket: Superstar 25t

    Pedals: Ody PC

    Chain: 510 HX

Rear Wheel: Profile mini (ti axle and nuts) w/ hazard LT rim

    Front Wheel: Superstar overdrive

    Pegs: none

    Rear Tyre: Fit 1.95

    Front Tyre: Dirt monster 2.2

    Weight of bike: 20lbs

Modifications: The bars have been extended to 29 inches with
22mm crank spacers, then threading in the bar end and covering the
added width with the grip. The Thomson seat post was cut super small
and the guts run backward. I have Ti bolts, axles, and nuts all over
the place. Then I cut the fork tube down and it has a Tree headset cap.
    I think that's it.

Describe your personal bike setup. Light, long and low.

Describe the contents of your personal bike tool bag. I carry a tool case in my car. I have all the basics to put a bike together more or less.

What part do you wear through the quickest? I would have to say rear tires from doing coping tire slides.

What part do you break most often? I don't really break much. Maybe pop tubes from riding in shady areas.

Do you patch flat tyres or get new tubes? New 18' tubes from Walmart!

Which parts are you paranoid about breaking? Forks for sure, a chain too if you are cranking at something.

Where do your parts go when you're done with them? I give them away to the younger rippers.

Who builds your wheels? Anything special about them? I do usually. not much special.

Cassette or freecoaster? Cassette, I hate slack.

    Kevlar bead or regular bead?
Regular bead, the kevlar ones cost too much.

Plastic pedals or metal? PC, easier on the shins."
