The BMX World Championships is pretty much the biggest BMX party of the year, and for 2009 it's set to go down in Cologne, Germany, at the Jugendpark. Imagine all of the world's best riders in vert, dirt, park, and flatland all in one spot, with camping available and a notoriously loose rule structure - shit goes off, for sure.

As an added bonus, Jugendpark is celebrating their 25th year supporting BMX events and they've arranged to have the most famous and prolific touring crew of all time come to the Worlds, as well. The late-'80s Haro team of Ron Wilkerson, Brian Blyther, and Dave Nourie will be performing their old show, complete with old bikes and uniforms. Should be a blast, so if you're in the process of planning your summer vacation, take a good look at doing it in Germany.
