Human beings, according to most medical data, house a superior brain to any living thing on this Earth, yet, everyday, we see this battle of man and animal played out, as if the animal had a hell of a chance to succeed...What I do not understand is what kind of pleasure do you get from killing this wonderful and majestic animal, even if it were a contest, what personal pleasure do you derive from ending its life...???...it belongs in the Ocean and yet, your so called, "superior" brain, told you to kill it, take it out of its environment & stand next to it for a photographic record of the violent event....Please, try and understand what we are trying to convey to you people, who take pleasure in ending a life of this and other living things, here on Earth...Let them live, as they are God's Creatures and He put them here for other reasons and not so that you could spend a day, wallowing in its blood & salt water, for yes, a photographic record of this barbaric event...Let the animals and other creatures live, if possible, for I see no benefit to mankind, or to the field of medicine or any other necessary event that would allow mankind to benefit from the death of this most Majestic Beast..." Links | < previous 448 of 1565 next > Easy As StefanYou know what my definition of being good at something is? Doing something difficult and making it look effortless. I think that comes into play in skateboarding more than any other sport-ish activity I can think of. Since skateboarding is considered by many, including myself, to be more of an art, and an outlet for self expression, than a sport, how you do it, becomes more important than what you did. You know the skaters. They have that casual style, the kind that looks like they're almost asleep, in maybe some sort of muscle memory cruise control, but at the same time they are using everything around them to add more and more layers to the painting that is that particular line, or video part. It's years, and years, and years of repetition, plus just a natural sense of what skateboarding should be, that makes the skate styles of these Rembrandts on a skateboard just so appealing to a set of skate eyes. Your everyday, X Games/Dew Tour fan, who just cares about points and numbers may not notice, but to a skateboarder, what these style masters are able to do with their skateboards is mind altering. They just find things along their way, that most wouldn't even considered skating, and turn them into part of a trick, that just blows your mind. Where I'm I getting with all this? Well, I just wanted to make sure that everyone who reads this is aware of a guy named Sefan Janoski. He's has one of the most effortless-looking skate styles out there. He's a quiet guy, who lets his skateboarding do the talking, but the talking his skateboarding does is kind of quiet too. Simply because, he makes everything look so easy. He's been doing his thing for more than a minute now, and skateboarding has noticed. He has had some stellar video parts over the years, his Habitat pro-model decks are a consistent seller, but ever since his signature shoe was released on Nike SB, it seems he has stepped a bit more into the limelight. I was just in a very well known skate shop, that has one of the best shoe selections out there, just cruising around. I was checking out what was on the shelves, when one those obsessive sneaker guys walked in. You know, the ones that camp out, and wait in line for hours to get some limited edition Nike SB, only because it is some beer company's colors, or something. Well anyway, this guy looked like he wouldn't even be able to push on a skateboard, unless that is, it was with his fingers, and the video game controller in his hand. And then he asked it, "You guys got the Janoski's in the new color ways?" The shop employee said no, and that they fly off the shelves. Then the sneaker freak said, "Those are hottest shoes on Nike SB." I just said to myself, "Well, I'll be damned." Out of all people, it's kind of funny that Stefan has a best-selling shoe on Nike. Well, not as much funny as maybe just makes you feel good. A skateboarder's skateboarder is getting recognition from the type of company that can take your mind off the bills, and keep it where it belongs; skateboarding. All you have to do is watch Stefan cruise around while he thinks no one is watching, just watch how easy he makes all his warm-up tricks look. Then, watch one of his runs and you'll see those moves linked together in one of the most effortless styles out there.
