The Converse Coastal Carnage Bowl Jam is a 3 day event at the US Open of Surfing with $75,000 in prize money up for grabs, and Mr. Caples is one of the invitees. In an ironic little side note, the person Curren is named after, none other than pro surfing legend, Tom Curren, has stood on top of the podium with a 1st place check in his hands at the US Open a few times.
