Reid Menzer Memorial Skatepark 1 Year Anniversary Event - Saturday September 5



Vengeance is a proud sponsor the of Reid Menzer Memorial Skatepark 1
Year Anniversary Event. The event, being held on Saturday, September 5
in York, PA; will feature, contests, giveaways, demos and more. Come on
our for a great day of skateboarding and swing by the Vengeance tent to
see what we have going on.

The
concrete park was originally opened to honor the memory and spirit of
Reid Menzer, who traigcally passed away at only age 14. Since it's
opening, the park has gained a reputation as one of the nicest in the
region. The park, with help from local shops, sponsors and supporters,
has hosted numerous events and been packed with skaters keeping it
alive and well.

On October 3, the best skate shops the
Mid-Atlantic region has to offer will battle it out for the first time
- at Shoptoberfest! Vengeance Clothing , Focus Skate Mag and Vu Skateshop to throw an event that is long overdue.

Shoptoberfest will be held at Reid Menzer Memorial Skatepark
in York, PA on the first Saturday in October. The event will have 4
obstacles - hubba ledge, manny pads, a ledge & drop-in combo, and
the final round being a stair & rail set. The concrete park will
host 18-20 of the best shops from PA, NY, NJ, MD, DC, & VA. Each
shop team will consist of any 4 team riders they wish to compete in
heats on each obstacle.

After
all the shops have competed on all the obstacles, the judges will tally
the scores up and pick the overall winner. The winning shop takes home
$1000 cash, along with an individual best skater bonus of $250 to that
team's highest scorer. Second place wins $500 cash and the third place
shop takes $250 cash.

Also scheduled for the event is a demo from one of the hottest skate teams going, "The Crew." If you haven't seen "The Crew" yet, you don't want to miss a demo that will be unlike any other.

The
event is free for anyone who wants to come out and join the crowd. All
the great sponsors have provided plenty of product toss giveaways for
the crowd and prizes for the shops. Several of the sponsors on board
for the event will be coming down with tents and more giveaways to add
even more to the day's event.
