This isn't the web cam of old, with fuzzy pictures and slow motion movements. Each newly installed Canon Network Camera can zoom in and out with perfect clarity and can turn 360 degrees. The first camera is on top of the Heshin' Delicatessen and can easily view the courtyard in the center of campus. The second camera is on top of the back office and can view the bmx jumps as well as many of the concrete jungle features. The third camera is on top of Dex's Shop and can view the basketball court, concrete bowl, vert ramp, and many other features.

Go to www.windells.com to check it all out! When you log onto Windells' web cam site, you will be placed in line and when it is your turn to control the webcam, you'll have 30 seconds to zoom, tilt, pan and shift the direction of the camera to check out everything you'd like to see at Windells. Kickflips, high fives, skateboard snake course races, counselors getting pies thrown at their faces, smiles and laughter--all at your fingertips.

  • Windells 09 Session 3 finishes up. Bag Jump, Team Terror, old school grabs, tricycles...you name it,

    " />
There's no better place to be in the summer than up at Mount Hood. Windells Session Three just came to a close and it was the definitely the best session so far with great weather and a shrediculous park.

Rome's Team Terror of Bjorn Leines, Marius Otterstad, Eiki Helgason, Johnnie Paxson and Staale Sandbech took over Windells for the week, ripping it up with campers on and off the hill. Windells also introduced its new inflatable megalith: the Bag Jump. The BJ is a 66x66x13 foot air-filled cushion, perfect for learning double backflips, double corks, double grabs and any other technical trickery you can think up.

Some of the awesomeness that went down this week: corrugated tube shred sessions, a serious game of knockout led by Marius, tons of skating in BOB with Eiki, and Burton's Blender sponsor night, where lady campers were challenged to drink gross-flavored milkshakes (all in pursuit of a brand new Burton snowboard). Bjorn Leines added to his resume and became an honorary digger by hustling Digger Dogs to all the hungry rippers in the park, while Staale Sandbech and Johnnie Paxson slayed the 80-foot step up, just for fun.

Check out the Session Video to catch all the action and for more, go to www.windells.com/blog.

  • Bag Jump hits Windells--Snowboarders and Skiers Can Now get Trickier than Ever Before

Bag Jump at Windells Session Three

    The Bag Jump is legit.

Late in Session 2 there were a few whispered rumors circling Windells Campus. ' We might be getting a Bag Jump!!! But, shhhhh.' While rumors usually tend to be bogus, this rumor ended up being HUMONGUS. 66x66x13 feet to be exact and on June 27th, every eye on Mt. Hood was glued to the large air-filled landing zone in the Windells park.

As the fourth Bag Jump in the world was inflated on the first day of Windells' (TM) third session, there was an overwhelming element of curiosity in the air. However, when the first rider wasted no time double flipping off the lip and suffered no consequences, Windells campers and staff picked up their jaws and raced to the top of the drop in. The only question left lingering was, what wacky double cork should we learn next?

The BJ is so legit, in fact, that during the session, two major production companies filmed some of the world' (TM)s best snow shredders practicing never-been-done tricks on the Bag Jump and then the tricks were taken to the snow, all in the same day.

Rome Pro Rider Eiki Helgason with a nonchalant dub rodeo on the Bag Jump.

' I tried two new tricks into the bag, double front rodeo nine and a double cork nine. Now I know it works I just have to find a perfect kicker and try it on real snow,' said Rome rider, Eiki Helgason, who was at Windells for the Session 3.

' It's pretty much the coolest thing next to tie dye gypsy feathers,' says Tim Windell.

As long as Godzilla doesn' (TM)t catch wind and claim this fluffy air mattress as his bed, the Bag Jump will be in Windells private park all summer' "the only place in the US to have a Bag Jump' "allowing shredders to progress their riding to levels never thought imaginable.
