Well said. You and all the others out their fighting for our right to make our own decisions, good or bad. I don't see a difference between this girls dream or any other teen dream, such as a pro athlete or actor/actress. She has been well trained and is just as capable as any adult that has made the same journey. If she were 2 years older this would not be a problem of bad parenting so why is it now. I think these parents have done a great job and are very strong people to accept her dream and help her achieve it. It sure beats her staying home and becoming pregnant or getting into drugs.

Both Abby and her parents knew the risks going into this trip. I don't think their actions have been careless at all. to me carelessness is not looking at the whole picture and not being prepared for the worst. Abby decided to follow her dream and she will never regret that.

As for her risking others lives...she made her choice to follow her dream as did the rescuers when they chose their profession. In this great country we still get to choose what we want to be when we grow up.

Thank you for helping to keep our nation free of oppression.
