We know the expression “till the cows come home” means “for a very, very long time.”
But thanks to Farmer Derek Klingenberg, we might have to change the meaning of that expression.
In a recent YouTube video that has gone viral, the farmer sits in a chair and starts playing Lorde’s “Royals” with his trombone. Slowly, the cows’ heads begin to pop up on the horizon, and they amble on down toward the farmer, demonstrating that “till the cows come home” actually means “till the farmer plays ‘Royals’ with a trombone.”
The cows eventually even join in on the fun, mooing to the chorus.
