The 2012 Street League season kicked off in Kansas City this past weekend as it did last year-- with skateboard technician Nyjah Huston taking home $150,000. Huston's ability to land difficult and technical tricks consistently makes him almost unbeatable in the current Street League format.
"It was a hard one tonight, that's for sure!" said Nyjah. "I definitely had to work for it. I love the challenge, though, and to skate with these guys is great."

With 17-year-old Pedro Barros turning the highly anticipated bowl contest into a battle for second, the 2012 Vans Pro-Tec Pool Party transformed from a competition into a trip down skateboarding's memory lane.
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of his infamous Half Cab shoes, legend Steve Caballero returned from a broken collar bone to win the nostalgic Masters division. Cab sat on top of the podium consisting of fellow Bones Brigade members Tony Hawk and Lance Mountain.
An all out Part on Catalina Island
The show was at The Lab in Costa Mesa. Pretty cool place.
