I went alphabetically down the line of each skater partaking, and gave you a little of what they're about, and what to expect. The guys I think are a definite threat to win are in bold and all capitals. The guys I think are threats to place, and maybe win are in just bold.
Billy Marks: A very consistent, loyal pawn of Ed Templeton over at the Toy Machine program. He made the Final of Maloof OC and finished tenth overall. Not a very big"contest guy," but has been known to dabble in competition.
Brandon Biebel: One of the best manualers in the world. He's always a contender at Red Bull Manny Mania contests. Also a great technical skateboarder had a killer part in one of the best skate videos of all time, Fully Flared.

Chaz Ortiz: The best young contest skater out there. Always a threat to win whatever he enters: Maloof Money Cup, X Games, Dew Tour and now Street League. He is a definite threat to win.
CHRIS COLE: He pretty much owns competitive street skateboarding at the moment. Three Maloofs in a row, reigning Dew Tour Champion, owned the Thrasher Wallenberg contest. Not to mention gets shots for the mags, and always has an amazing part in whatever video Jamie Thomas and the Black Box guys are putting together.
David Gonzalez: Small man, but goes huge. Look for him to put down big scores on the bigger sections of the course, and struggle on the smaller stuff. Had an amazing part in Flip's Extremley Sorry.
Dylan Reider: If you want to know how good this guy is click here, it's the best skateboarding short film on the internet featuring Reider on skateboard, and Greg Hunt behind the camera and editing bay. He's got great style, can go huge and can get tech. Plus, he dating hot model Errin Wasson click here to check her out.
Eric Koston: A skateboarding legend, not much else to say. It's good to see Drydek has some of the guys that made street skateboarding what it is today in this thing. Not a threat to place, but it's always great to watch him skate.
Greg Lutzka: He is currently ranked first in the overall Dew Tour Championship standings. Is a definite threat to place.
Luan Oliviera: A brilliant technical skater from Brazil. Dominated the Amateur world for the past few years. Recently became pro, and is a threat to place.
Marc Johnson: Another legend who is doing us all a favor by letting us see how he will adapt his skateboarding to this format. He's not much a contest guy, more of a video star, who had the last part in Fully Flared, which won him a Thrasher Skater of Year three years ago. Not a threat to win, but will be fun to watch.
Marck Appleyard: Consistently puts together some of the best video sections in skateboarding. He hasn't had much of a competitive career, but maybe this new format will work to his benefit. He could make a run for it.
Mike Mo Capaldi: Or simply Mike Mo is one of the best young skateboarders in the world. Had a killer opening section in Fully Flared, and has only gotten better. He hasn't had many contest results, but he is good enough to place if he is on.
Mikey Taylor: Another video and photo guy with very good style. And like most of his kind not many contest results, but has the talent to do something in this league. Nyjah Huston: A contest machine. Many think he was robbed at the last Maloof when he place second for the second time. Look for him to skate like he has something to prove. He finished second to Paul Rodriguez in the first Maloof, and to Chris Cole in the last one, with many feeling he deserved first in both.
PUAL RODRIGUEZ: Arguably in the top two as far as the best competitive skateboarders in the world go. I think you know who the other guy is. A definite threat to win in Arizona.
Peter Ramondetta: Has always been great photo and video guy, and recently has become a threat in contests as well. He has made the finals of two Maloofs, and seems to have found his contest stride. Should be a threat.
PJ Ladd: One of the best technical skateboarders of his day, and still is. A quite guy who lets his skating do the talking. He has a huge bag of tricks and if he's on, could make a run.
Ryan Sheckler: About as superstar as it gets in skateboarding. Sheckler has been one of the best competitive skateboarders in the game for years now. He did have a bit of a set back a year ago at the X Games when he broke hit foot, he also has elbow issues, but has recovered from both. Proved he's back to his old form by winning the X Games, and finishing third at the Mock Street League contest. If he can put his injuries behind him on the big stuff he is a definite threat to win.
Sean Malto: One of the best young guys out there; contests, videos, you name it he shines. He is technical enough on the small obstacles and when it's time to step it up to the big stuff he's one of the best in the business. A definite threat to win, he just finished third at Maloof.
Shane O'Neill: Aka Nugget, is another example of what the future of skateboarding is. He kind of came out of nowhere, and after his Berrics section the skate world knew he was for real. At the Maloof Cup NYC there were more than a few that thought he should of made the final.
Terry Kennedy: He is in the middle of filming a reality television show for BET, so who knows how that will effect his concentration. H is the only representative from the Baker crew at Street League, and hasn't had many contest results, but did have success at the first Maloof.
Tommy Sandoval: This Vista, CA killer does just that. He finished second at the second Maloof, and if he can put it together is a definite threat to win. Besides Geoff Rowley (who pulled out), he was the only competitor to check out the second mock contest held earlier in the month.
TOREY PUDWILL: Had possibly the section of the year in the Transworld video, Hallelujah, won best trick and finished third at the NYC Maloof and made the final at the Maloof OC. He suffers a bit from contest anxiety. If he can put that behind him a definite threat to win.
