Zero's Halloween Slaying At KCDC

Zero is a skate brand that has always had that Misfits feel. They've used a few Misfits songs in their videos, have had a few Misfits-esque graphics and even entitled one of their videos Misled Youth. And if there's one holiday that encompasses the image of the Misfits it's Halloween, just read the lyrics to their song Halloween:


Bonfires burning bright
Pumpkin faces in the night

Well, to coincide with the holiday of ghouls, ghosts, vampires and that guy from the Hangover Zero went on a little Halloween tour. They even stopped by my favorite New York City skate shop KCDC for a little mini-ramp session.

Street League 2012: Nyjah Huston Wins Kansas City... Again

Street League's instant scoring allowed for the possibility of pressure-packed moments, but very few times did the skateboarders deliver

The 2012 Street League season kicked off in Kansas City this past weekend as it did last year-- with skateboard technician Nyjah Huston taking home $150,000. Huston's ability to land difficult and technical tricks consistently makes him almost unbeatable in the current Street League format.

"It was a hard one tonight, that's for sure!" said Nyjah. "I definitely had to work for it. I love the challenge, though, and to skate with these guys is great."
