Shaun White in the White House

By: Heather Hendricks

More often than not, when reporting something about Shaun White it's not about something he's accomplished while skating or snowboarding, but about his ever-increasing celebrity status.

Over the weekend, White spent time hobnobbing with some of the most powerful people in the world at the White House Corespondent's Dinner.

The annual event, held at the Washington Hilton Hotel in D.C. was attended by the likes of Betty White, Steven Spielberg, Jessica Alba, Cash Warren and among many others, snowboarding's favorite red head. White brought along his brother Jesse and had time to take to his Facebook with pictures from the event.

During the star-studded event, President Obama roasted quasi-president hopeful Donald Trump and host Seth Meyer kept the crowd of politicians and party-goings jovial with his jokes.

During the last year's Olympics, White joked about wanting to go to the White House and looks like he got his chance.

Can you even imagine what will be next for White?
