Chad Muska is in deep

By: Janos Palko

Over the years we have seen Chad Muska undergo many transformations and re-inventions. There was the eager young innocent Muska, the gangster bling Muska, 80's retro Muska, Hipster Muska, Clean Cut Muska, Homeless Muska, and now apparently we're gonna see criminal Muska.

Chad got arrested last week for vandalizing a restaurant with spray paint tags reading "Muska Kills". That wouldn't be suuuch a big deal, unless TMZ was on hand to document the incident, which they were, including one part where he yells the N-word a bunch. This being the sad world we live in, where everyone loves to be offended, the incident has escalated to the point where Muska issued a public apology, and Element also issued a few statements.

At first, they took a laid back stance on the subject, pointing out that he used "n---a" not "n----er". Sort of like how Eminem can say it and nobody cares. Then once the whole media shitstorm clouds gathered, they back-pedaled and used the standard public apology, "we in no way condone the use of.." blah blah blah, you've heard that before.

On twitter, a couple hours before his arrest:

"I have a feeling tonight is going to be another one of those nights. I should just stay in ... But I won't."

I was actually under the impression that famous people were above the law whilst in Hollywood? No? Not if you're famous for skating instead of being rich and slutty? Weird.

Sounds like Muska won't end up facing any serious charges out of this. At the very least, he'll learn his lesson about... um... Vandalizing stuff?.. Foul language?.. well something I'd think..

Street League 2012: Nyjah Huston Wins Kansas City... Again

Street League's instant scoring allowed for the possibility of pressure-packed moments, but very few times did the skateboarders deliver

The 2012 Street League season kicked off in Kansas City this past weekend as it did last year-- with skateboard technician Nyjah Huston taking home $150,000. Huston's ability to land difficult and technical tricks consistently makes him almost unbeatable in the current Street League format.

"It was a hard one tonight, that's for sure!" said Nyjah. "I definitely had to work for it. I love the challenge, though, and to skate with these guys is great."
