The goofy foot from Anchorage Alaska has accomplish a lot as a professional skateboarder but he's best known for helping start the widely successful skate company Supra in 2005.

He has appeared in videos such as Zero's "The Thrill of It All" & "Misled Youth", Emerica's "This Is Skateboarding" & "Kids in Emerica" and Baker's "Baker 3" & "Baker Has a Deathwish".

Erik Ellington's impact on skateboarding can be felt throughout the industry. In 2008 along with Jim Greco and Antwuan Dixon Ellington left Baker to start Deathwish Skateboards.

So while on tour with Supra in Copenhagen Ellington sat down with Bitch Slap Mag to shed light on starting companies, his role in the industry with Baker and Deathwish, people getting Piss Drunx tattoos and how deadlines bum him out.

When a skate entrepreneur like this speaks I suggest we listen...

Street League's instant scoring allowed for the possibility of pressure-packed moments, but very few times did the skateboarders deliver

The 2012 Street League season kicked off in Kansas City this past weekend as it did last year-- with skateboard technician Nyjah Huston taking home $150,000. Huston's ability to land difficult and technical tricks consistently makes him almost unbeatable in the current Street League format.

"It was a hard one tonight, that's for sure!" said Nyjah. "I definitely had to work for it. I love the challenge, though, and to skate with these guys is great."
