So just like everyone else now days, you think you're an artist, right? Well, Lakai has the contest for you, so put up, or shut up. Get your cutoff jeans on, make sure your beanies on right and design some shoes.

Here's the rundown straight from Lakai:

Fire up your Illustrator skills because the long awaited follow up to Lakai My Way has finally arrived. This time we're looking for your touch on the Carroll Select. We'll be taking submissions until July 25th then post the winning entry on Friday, July 31st. Someone in the design department mentioned something about applying ' original patterns', but by all means do as you please because we definitely don't discriminate! See below for all official rules, and make sure you TURN OFF YOUR POP UP BLOCKER TO DOWNLOAD TEMPLATES! If that doesn't work, you can download them here. Good Luck!

1. Download the design template from the front page
2. Design your colorway
3. Email your submission to contest@lakai.com by 12:01 AM PST, July 25th
4. Check www.lakai.com on Friday, July 31st to see if your entry is chosen for our Fall 2010 line.
5. Contest begins Thursday, June 25th at 12 PM PST and ends Friday, July 25th at 12:01 AM PST
6. Authorized parental consent is required if under the age of 13. Please have our parent or guardian contact legal@podiumdist.com before submitting your entry.
7. Winner will receive a year's supply (12 pairs) of their design and a feature in our Fall 2010 catalog.
8. We will only consider one entry per person, so make sure you get it right the first time!
9. Email is the preferred method for submissions, but if you have to send via mail send to the address below.

Street League's instant scoring allowed for the possibility of pressure-packed moments, but very few times did the skateboarders deliver

The 2012 Street League season kicked off in Kansas City this past weekend as it did last year-- with skateboard technician Nyjah Huston taking home $150,000. Huston's ability to land difficult and technical tricks consistently makes him almost unbeatable in the current Street League format.

"It was a hard one tonight, that's for sure!" said Nyjah. "I definitely had to work for it. I love the challenge, though, and to skate with these guys is great."
