Skatopia x Volcom
A Destructive Clothing Experience
Brewce Martin, the madman behind Skatopia has team up with Volcom to bring you a collaborative clothing collection. Skatopia is one of, if not the, craziest skate facilities in the world. I think it was actually named the only thing cool in Ohio by the state's governor. It's out in the middle of nowhere, and is full of sketchy pools and bowls, and just everything hesh. It's a place you go to blow shit up, shoot guns and skate. The boys behind the Stoneage gear, Volcom's skate line, thought.. More >

Ali Boulala A Style Master
A Sylish Life Of Ups And Downs
When it comes to style in modern skateboarding there are many names that come to mind, but one in particular is Sewden's own, Ali Boulala. With a name like that how could you not be stylish? Shit, just signing his name is steezy. Ali is the complete package when it comes to creating a cool persona around professional skating ability. While he was skateboarding for a living he was simply put; different. The way in which he skated was like no other, the way in which he dressed was like no.. More >

TODAY'S PROFILE
Rick McCrank
Rick's got the whole package. He can go big on rails and stairs, get his tech on over pads and ledges, and hold a line in transition. Plus, he does it all with some of the smoothest style out there.
If you watched any of the episodes of The Beauty and The Beast series on Epicly Later'd, you know that Rick may skate transition oriented parks the best out of the everyone on the Girl team. It's either him, Alex Olson or Brian Anderson. It all depends on what you like to see. Not to mention, he is the most Canadian. Fellow, Canuck, Rick Howard, conceded and said, "McCrank's more Canadian" on last years Beauty And The Beast tour.
Rick's also a super mellow, nice guy, who doesn't "try" to be anything he's not. If he speaks pay attention because it is for sure something important. He also doesn't' drink and is a vegetarian.

Vans

Vans is a Southern California-based manufacturer of sneakers, skateboarding shoes and other shoe types catering primarily to the skateboarder/surfer youth market.Originally known as Van Doren Rubber Company, Vans was founded on March 16, 1966 by Paul Van Doren, Jim Van Doren (Brother), Serge D'Elia (Investor based in Japan), and Gordy Lee on 704E Broadway in Los Angeles, CA.At first, Vans shoes were produced in the store, decades later American production of Vans shoes ended in July 1995. Vans began taking custom orders when people wanted different color schemes on their shoes. In the beginning, Vans designed their shoes with a diamond tread. Later on, the middle part of each shoe cracked and fell apart during heavy use, prompting Vans to add vertical lines in the tread to increase strength, friction and grip. The tread was officially named the "waffle-sole."Today, Vans works heavily in the surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, urban and punk markets. The brand has also become popular over the last two years after re-introducing their much-loved slip-on. They have also marketed additional items such as clothing and skateboarding accessories.
