Portside 1985

Some friends and i are street skating a stage in our downtown riverfront by a mall called Portside. I fall & loose my board and it sharks the wheel on this van. I run up and grab my board and this man gets out. Just as i'm about to run (i'm 14) he says "hey, you and your friends wanna be on the news" and BAM! Here it is. I'm the one with the black shirt and RED Nike vandals on.

The documentary biopic of Danny Way's 20-year skate career will premiere at SXSW

The new documentary will have plenty of early teenage photos, video and audio of Way along with more recent footage and interviews
