Windells ended the summer off with a ton of skaters, snowboarders and skiers. In fact summer session 7 was are biggest session 7 to date in 22 years. Campers were still lapping the entire Mt. with over 2 miles of runs top to bottom with one of the best parks we have ever seen this time of year on Mt. Hood. Session 7 was the final session for the summer season. Where we saw more pro's then we had ever before in one summer, rode more parks with more campers then ever before. Hands down summer 08' goes down in the record books across the board... Windells is the "funnest" place on earth.
The 2012 Street League season kicked off in Kansas City this past weekend as it did last year-- with skateboard technician Nyjah Huston taking home $150,000. Huston's ability to land difficult and technical tricks consistently makes him almost unbeatable in the current Street League format.
"It was a hard one tonight, that's for sure!" said Nyjah. "I definitely had to work for it. I love the challenge, though, and to skate with these guys is great."
