ERGO “Grab and Smash” Summer So Cal Tour

LAKEWOOD, NJ., (April 28, 2009) – ERGO is proud to present its “Grab and Smash” summer promotional tour kicking off on International Go Skateboarding Day, June 21, 2009, at the Chula Vista skate park.

As part of the tour, the crew will make daily stops at local skate parks, surf breaks, shops and other spots to hang out, barbecue and, of course, pollute the crowd with free ERGO gear. As an added bonus, cameos from top ERGO riders such as Shea Lopez and Kris Markovich, will be made at a So Cal skate park or beach near you.

“As a New Jersey-based brand, we are grateful for all the support we’ve received on the east coast and will never forget our roots; however, we are thrilled for the opportunity to reach out to the surf and skate communities on the west coast,” says ERGO Vice President, Pete DiSpirito. “The Grab and Smash tour will be a collision of the two coasts this summer and things are sure to get wild, but most importantly we’re psyched to spread the ERGO word throughout Cali.”

If you see the ERGO van this summer be sure to chase it down, grill a burger or a dog with the guys and ask for some free shiz. Expect to see some serious shredding and shenanigans coming from this crew. Follow the tour on the ERGO blog at or get a play-by-play on twitter, @ ERGOtwitt.
