Cream Ridge, NJ – September 30, 2010 – Following in the footsteps of Philly powerhouse Chris Cole, young Tom Asta is blowing up and gaining some serious street cred.
“Tom is a real good friend of mine and he just so happens to be incredible at skating,” said Cole. “While his skating skill is to be admired, he also has a good head on his shoulders and comes from a great family. It only makes sense for me to link him up with another group of amazing people – Good Fight.”
With his break out part in 2007, Hot Wax Shred the Gnar, followed by a shared part with Cole in the influential Strange World, and Mystery’s recent Color Theory introduction part in 2010, Asta is well on his way to skate stardom.
“We are having a great introductory year at Good Fight Sports,” said Paul Conroy Good Fight Entertainment Co-Founder. “Our clients Chris Cole, Dakota Roche, and Mike Vallely are all having success and we are breaking new ground for our clients. Bringing Tom Asta on board was a natural fit. He is an incredible young skater, who is driven and talented. We look forward to a bright future with Tom.”
Much like Cole, Asta is proving to be quite the contest competitor as well with two second place wins this year at both the East and West Coast Maloof Money Cup AM Street finals and second place at the Woodward Beijing grand opening Best Trick contest.
Asta’s sponsors include: Mystery, Fallen, Reign Skateshop, LRG, Spitfire and Thunder.
