Yesterday we held our third annual Skate Jam and Best Trick benefit for the Make A WIsh Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. A big crowd came out to show support for a great cause as well as a bunch of hungry ams and pros who shredded all day, despite the blazing sun. When it was all said and done, Anthony Estrada walked away with a first place overall win, with Stoner local Sebo Walker taking second and Flip’s Oscar Meza taking third. Each of them will have money donated to Make A Wish in their names.
We’ll have more photos, video and a more in depth recap coming tomorrow (Check the teaser here), but from everyone at Skateboarder Magazine, we’d like to thank everyone who came out, Arnette and Red Bull for helping make this event possible, and Ryan, Vern, George and everyone at SPoTLife productions for helping make this event our best one yet. See you all next year!
