The second half of the trip began when we left Russia and entered Mongolia. We stayed for a few days around Ulaanbaatar, the capital, Kenny had been denied an exit stamp at the border and we had been forced to leave him behind. A few days later he met us after he’d sorted out his paperwork. It was a very different feeling place. People were super agro and wanted to start fights with us on several occasions just to see what we would do.
Jack Sabback - back lip. Ulaanbaatar train station. Mongolia.
Our first view of Mongolia.
Kenny showed up at 7am sooo stoked to find us. I'm still not sure how he knew where to go. I don't think we had even reserved a room yet when we left him.
Van Wastell. At first we didn't find much to skate and we had no guide to show us spots so we kept going back to the train station.
Keegan Sauder - BS 180.
Keegan Sauder - Switch ollie. I was pick pocketed by a drunken Mongol as I was shooting this trick. He kept hugging me after each try and shaking my hand. An hour later I realized my point and shoot was gone. Van and Mike Fox the filmer had cameras go missing as well. Shady place.
Keegan - self tat.
