Brighton and Solitude Kick Off Utah Ski Season. Opening Dates Announced for Rest of State

Big Cottonwood Canyon is open for ski season. Brighton and Solitude kicked off the Utah ski season on Friday, November 8. Solitude is reporting  an 18-inch mid-mountain base, and has the Link, Apex and Moonbeam lifts open. Brighton has the Majestic and Explorer lifts spinning, and is offering $37 lift tickets until more open.




Across the rest of Utah, opening dates have been announced. Brian Head will be the next to crack the seal, with an expected opening of Nov. 15.

Deer Valley: December 7

Eagle Point: December 19

Park City: November 23

Powder Mountain: November 27

Snowbasin: November 28

Snowbird: November 20

Sundance: December 6
