Video: 30 Inches in 24 Hours at Fernie, B.C.

The season appears to be kicking off right in Fernie, British Columbia. The Interior B.C. resort got an early start on their 444 inch annual average with 30 inches over 24 hours on November 3, 2013. The video shows Operations Manager Robin Siggers, managing his operations quite well with the help of his son, Dylan. The storm brought Fernie’s year-to-date snow tally to 32 inches, so there’s still some work to do on the base. The resort has set a the tentative opening date of November 30.
