Shaun White threw it down today at the X Games, not only did he win the Gold in Snowboard Slopestyle, his run was the highest scoring run in the X Slopestyle history. The reason for this all boils down to one thing, the channel jump. White was the only rider to gap the channel jump, and that's that, another Gold for Shaun White.
Here's a list of what he stuck in his run: Backside lipslide on the down rail, front 270 over the kink, back 180 up the butter box, cab 5 off, backside rodeo off the boner box kicker, cab 1080, backside 720 over the channel gap, to finish it off with a frontside 1080.
Next up for White is the Superpipe, which he has been known destroy.

The 18-year-old stomped it off a massive kicker in Europe.
While many of us were sulking because the season is practically over, Norwegian shredder, Stale Sandbech was busy stomping a brand new trick. A video of the 18-year-old hitting a massive kicker in Europe just surfaced, and in it, Sandbech stomps a triple underflip 1260. Yeah, we didn't really think that was possible either, but this video from Stale's sponsors proves it.
After seeing the video, we had to know what was going through Sandbech's mind when he stomped the new trick...

as much as i like shaun white, he stole that gold, and you can tell he knew it in his heart too. from his forced celebration to stumblin over his words tryin to describe his supposed gold medal last run, again, my hats off to him and his mad skilz. but the judges gave him a frickin gift so he could be back to back gold for the first time in men's or womans. and i think it only cheapens the win and the sport loses credebility. time to start spreadin the wealth judges, shaun white aint the only guy in the pipe
