Can you even imagine where snowboarding can go from here?

While many of us were sulking because the season is practically over, Norwegian shredder, Stale Sandbech was busy stomping a brand new trick. A video of the 18-year-old hitting a massive kicker in Europe just surfaced, and in it, Sandbech stomps a triple underflip 1260. Yeah, we didn't really think that was possible either, but this video from Stale's sponsors proves it.
After seeing the video, we had to know what was going through Sandbech's mind when he stomped the new trick...

too bad it took snowboarding to reinvent skiing.. you two plankers would not let us even ride on the hill. Then you stole our clothes, style, trick names, and now you are riding our coat tails into the olympics in half pipe. and worst of all you stole our bannanas. see you next year on the slopes hater!

haha lets look a little further back in history. As i remember the first people to use planks on snow were during world war 2 in the tenth mountain divison to bring messages to command units weren't wearing snowboards. So you can thank skiing for even getting us on the mountain

NICE!
Yep, Skiing is way ahead of the boarding curve... But, as of June 8th 2010 Mt Hood has at least 6 dudes that have (this year) and can tripple cork on a snowboard! Namely Johnny Paxon and Ryan Dragoo. You will see the footage this fall.
Back to skiing, Tommy Ellingson and Eric Pollard are both doing tripple lincoln loops! To be seen in the fall releases...

yeah, but you cant really compare a trick in skiing to snowboarding. completely different. your legs arent held together in skiing, so rotating and landing are way different.
