By: Lindsay Fraka

GrindTV Newswire Via 686: LOS ANGELES, CA (January 4, 2011) - 686® technical apparel is pleased to announce a continued partnership with acclaimed footwear brand New Balance® with the introduction of two new models produced alongside the HUF™ skateboard / lifestyle brand. The NB686 snowboard boot and the New Balance 205 sneaker will both be available January 8th in limited quantities.

The triple partnership brings forth a focus on clean design, with dark blue and white tones accented with pink and green hits and embellishments. The HUF for New Balance 205 sneaker is made of a micro suede and highly breathable mesh upper. The perforated suede New Balance logo makes a polished statement with coordinating NB 205 and HUF logo hits on the tongue. The terry cloth lining gives exceptional cushioning properties and has a contrasting micro suede heel cap.

As a compliment to the sneaker, the extremely limited HUF for NB686 snowboard boot has a worldwide limit of only 40 pairs available to the general public around the globe. The technical engineering from 686, superior waterproofing, one-piece molded tongue with 3-dimensional EVA, C-CAP® forefront midsole and the sneaker-like fit from New Balance and HUF make this a complete snowboarding boot.

The release date for the entire collection is January 8, 2011 and will be available at the following HUF flagship stores. The snowboard boots will also be available on www.686.com starting January 10, 2010.
In addition, a party to celebrate the 686 x HUF x NEW BALANCE triple collaboration will be held at HUF LA on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 7pm-10pm. Food Trucks-Drinks-DJ's-People-
