Torah Bright at Euro X Games, but will she compete?

By: Heather Hendricks

Olympic Gold medalist, Torah Bright hasn't competed in any snowboard event since she made history over a year ago in Vancouver at the the Winter Olympics.

She was slated to compete in slopestyle at this year's X Games in Aspen, but pulled out of the event last minute claiming she wasn't quite ready for the event.

Now Torah is at the European X Games in Tignes France and has been fulfilling as many media obligations as possible. She's been running around doing interviews, snapping photos with fans, and has even taking a few cruiser laps down the face of Tignes Le Claret.

Women's Halfpipe Finals are set to go down today and Torah's name is mysteriously missing from the start list. Bright had mentioned earlier this year that she wanted to focus on slopestyle, but after careful investigation, it appears that Bright isn't competing in slope at Euro X either.

We hope Torah gets back on the competition train sooner than later, because at this point, it seems she's the only one that has a glimmer of hope of beating the currently unstoppable Kelly Clark.

See what Torah Bright has been up to at Euro X Games.
