Peetu Piiroinen in Park City with Heikki Sorsa

By: Heather Hendricks

There's no doubt about it- Peetu Piiroinen is a competitive beast. With three TTR World-Champion titles under his Burton sponsored belt, the Finnish rider knows how to work the contest scene.

So what does this halfpipe heavyweight do when the comp season is over?

This year he booked a ticket to Park City Mountain Resort and got after it with Burton pro Heikki Sorsa. They sent it through chest-deep blower pow, went huge in PCMR's pristine 22' superpipe, got crafty on a barrel bonk and walloped a wall ride.

Turns out that even when Peetu's not competing, he's still winning.
