As the Nike "Chosen" contest ramps up, we check in with the crew that's currently leading the charge with the most "Likes" and comments on Facebook. "This Must Be The Place" is made up of four guys living the life in Salt Lake City who joined forces because of their love of snowboarding. We got in touch with Conner Brown, one of the filmers in the group, for the low down on everything about "This Must Be The Place."

Who makes up "This Must Be The Place?"

We are just a group of guys from all over who came together in Salt Lake City and decided to film a movie this winter titled "This Must Be The Place." We aren't really a crew, we just all want to film this year and all agree that Salt Lake is the place to be.

Where are you from, how old are you guys, and how long have you been shredding?

We are all 19 and 20 years old, and we've all been boarding for quite a while now. I'm from Portland, Oregon, Blaze is from Park City, Jesse is from Seattle, and Andrew is from New Hampshire.

How did you guys come up with your crew's name "This Must Be The Place?"

I was really stressing to find something that I could call the edits I was making and the movie that I am filming this year, and one day I was at my friend Toby's house in Portland, and he just said, "I don't get why you don't just call it 'This Must Be The Place.'" And there you have it.

How did the crew form, and how long have you guys been friends?

We just all started filming together in the past month, but have been friends for longer. We all decided we wanted to film parts this year, we are all motivated, and we are all going to make it happen.

How long have you been filming?

I have always liked filming, but I didn't really start taking it seriously until the past couple of months. I saved some money, purchased an HVX, and now we are just waiting for some snow.

What are you hoping to get out of being apart of the Chosen Contest?

I think that the Chosen Contest is a really great opportunity for my friends and me to promote the video. Obviously, winning or doing well in the contest would be cool, but I think having the contest as yet another motivator for us is great, and I am already excited about how it is going.

Do you have any strategies for the contest or for your edits?

I really like going out with a group of a few people because everyone seems to play off each other. Nobody wants to be the guy who didn't get a shot. Supporting each other through getting tricks and motivating when something isn't going well is what friends are for.

What is your crew's favorite aspect of snowboarding?

My friends and I always get a lot of heat about this, but one of the best feelings is hiking a rail, whether or not it is in the streets, and working really hard to get a trick and film it well. To some it may not be as fun as lapping the park, but for us, trying to make something unique and new even in the park is worth it.

Do you have a favorite snowboard film, or style of film you'd like fashion your edit after?

Favorite snowboard film of all time.... Probably Afterlame. From this year, I would say Shoot the Moon or Retrospect.

If Chosen, what would your crew do to celebrate?

Well, I can think of a few things we could do with $40,000, but honestly, I would probably just buy some camera stuff and save whatever is left.

What pro would you most like to live like and why?

The Don.

Describe a perfect day with your crew.

Wake up early, go get a vanilla latte, go film somewhere, grab some Hector's, log the hams, and go to bed.
