Shaun White unveils new line of Target housewares

By: Heather Hendricks

Still trying to find those last minute holiday gifts? Of course you are. You still have four days until the 25th, and being as most snowboarders and skiers are of the procrastinating type, we know you're still scouring the mall for that perfect purchase. Since you haven't found it yet, don't fret, Shaun White has come to your rescue once again. This time by unveiling his new line of Target housewares.

Yep, no need to choke on your sugary piece of Stride Whitemint gum, you read that right. The Flying Tomato, has taken on a new creative endeavor, and this time it's all about home accessories. The Shaun White home collection is a breakout line of bedding, lighting and housewares that are inspired by skating, snowboarding, music and art.

The New York Times was was the first to get the scoop on this exciting new line and sat down with Mr. White to get all the dirty details about what to expect. Apparently the line will feature piggy banks, lamps and sets of reversible sheets.

Might as well peel on over to Target right now, because that's what everyone needs this holiday season; a set of Shaun White reversible sheets. Sold.

Head to here to check out the New York Time's story about the burgeoning line. And if you're into controversy, scoot over to Vice for this particularly interesting blog about the SW for Target designs and their (possible) origins.
