Giro: Ryan Paul in Japan

By: Lindsay Fraka

We're pretty sure it's time for an intervention. This frontflipping has got to end. Ryan Paul has a serious problem of sending it face first in every situation imaginable and it's putting us a little on edge.

Okay that was a lie. We like when Ryan front flips onto any rail in front of him. We enjoy it when he front flips off these rails as well. Also, we like it when he front flips into fresh powder. Sure, we know RP can hold his own and then some when it comes to jibbing but what happens when you throw this kid into the backcountry? Time to find out, thanks to Giro.

Japan seems to be the only place enjoying any sort of winter this year and for them, it's just not any winter...it's an insane, fresh dumps every week kind of winter and this is exactly where Ryan Paul decided to get his pow slashes underway.

Yeah, we didn't really think that was possible either, but this video from Stale's sponsors proves it.

After seeing the video, we had to know what was going through Sandbech's mind when he stomped the new trick...
