Photos: Dan Himbrechts / Burton Australian Open Horgmo and Anderson Win Slopestyle Titles PERISHER BLUE, AUSTRALIA (September 5, 2008) Sound the didgeridoos, the 2008 Burton Australian Open has come to a close and Torstein Horgmo (NOR) and Jamie Anderson (USA) have come out on top, winning the mens and womens slopestyle competition today at Perisher Blue Resort. After a week of dodgy weather, the sun broke through this morning, illuminating the 400m long slopestyle course that featured a downrail, battleship rail and three massive kickers....

After a long season of chasing snow and a summer of long nights in the editing bay, Rome SDS and Kids on Shred are stoked to premiere No Correct Way for east coast shreds on September 14th at McGreevys in Boston. Theres going to be tons of schwag including a Rome deck, Rome bindings, Rome boots and Rome accessories. Waterville Valley, one of the most rider-dedicated mountains on the east coast, will also be on hand offering up some free lift tickets. Rome team riders LNP, MFR, and others will be on hand to sign posters and drink a few beers before the movie starts....

Words/Photos: Porters Tahoe The Olympic Village Lodge doors at Squaw Valley opened at 7:30 last night and Standards movie AESTHETICA was set to start at 8:30. Fuel TV, a sponsor, was on hand filming and reporting from the event. The Fuel TV reporters for the night were Tina Dixon and Jim Rippey. Other sponsors for the night were Porters Lake Tahoe , VAS Entertainment and Squaw Valley USA. As the clock edged towards show time the line to get in was spreading into the parking lot. Soon a roar of applause erupted from inside Olympic Village Lodge. Show time!...
