When it's freestyle.ch-time, you're coming - no matter what! Even buckets of rain can't stop you! Heavy rain couldn't keep scores of loyal freestyle.ch fans from finding their way to the Landiwiese on Saturday. Although the bad weather resulted in canceled FMX and skateboarding contests, a skateboarding demo could be held and the snowboarding and freeskiing qualifications were all the more phenomenal. It was the freeskiers who managed foremost to fly in the face of the rain. Their outstanding starting l ineup left no room for anything other than a first-rate contest. Nearly all of the riders paraded double corks - the latest craze in tricks that involves the simultaneous execution of two lateral rotations and spins around the vertical axis. This made for a tough fight to secure one of the first 8 spots in tomorrow's semifinal. In addition to qualification winner, Henrik Harlaut from Norway, Switzerland's up and coming talent Elias Amb hl really dazzled.
