The women on the Swatch TTR tour are about to take on the season’s first 6Star event, the O’Neill Evolution in Davos, Switzerland. They will have a busy schedule this winter with the 6Star Burton European Open coming up in January and another major event, The Oakley Arctic Challenge opening a 6Star slopestyle format for women this season. Other major events in their planning include the 5Star Burton Canadian Open, Nescafé Champs Leysin and US Snowboarding Grand Prix. In 2010/11 the female Swatch TTR World Tour Champion will be crowned at the 6Star Burton US Open alongside the men. Stay tuned for all the action on www.ttrworldtour.com.
While many of us were sulking because the season is practically over, Norwegian shredder, Stale Sandbech was busy stomping a brand new trick. A video of the 18-year-old hitting a massive kicker in Europe just surfaced, and in it, Sandbech stomps a triple underflip 1260. Yeah, we didn't really think that was possible either, but this video from Stale's sponsors proves it.
