TTR Rip Curl Sista Sessions 2011 - Slopestyle Finals with Silje Norendal

Saturday 22nd saw the finals of the 3Star TTR Rip Curl Sista Sessions kick off in style. Ten girls made it through to the semi-finals, but due to early fog and difficult visibility the organizers, judges and riders agreed to change the format, moving all riders into one final with 4 runs while keeping the best-run-counts format. This format let the girls take risks knowing they only had to nail it once. The anticipation was pumping throughout the day, as John Weaver kept everyone in great spirits even during the occasional snowy spell.Rip Curl Sista Sessions wrapped up with Silje Norendal (NOR) on the top of the Slopestyle podium, after throwing down an awesome run: frontside lipslide to fakie, switch 50-50 to switch frontboard, switch back 180 indy grab, and sealing the deal with a front rodeo 540.

Stale Sandbech Lands Triple Under-Flip 1260

The 18-year-old stomped it off a massive kicker in Europe.

While many of us were sulking because the season is practically over, Norwegian shredder, Stale Sandbech was busy stomping a brand new trick. A video of the 18-year-old hitting a massive kicker in Europe just surfaced, and in it, Sandbech stomps a triple underflip 1260. Yeah, we didn't really think that was possible either, but this video from Stale's sponsors proves it.
