The 15th annual Toyota Big Air Contest went down last week in Hokkaido, Japan.
Sixteen of the world’s best slopestyle riders were invited to the event and battled it out for the top spot. The set up was a massive man-made ‘straight jump’ that was erected in the middle of the notorious Makomanai Sekisuiheim Stadium in the heart of Hokkaido.
All of the riders were sending it, but Chas Guldemond took the win after stomping a huge backside 1260. Follwing his win, Chas took to his Twitter account and proclaimed,
“I LOVE JAPAN! JUST WON THE TOYOTA BIG AIR! SO STOKED I CAN’T SEE STRAIT! DEFINITELY STOKED FOR MY BOYS MARK & SEB TOO, WHAT A NIGHT!”
