Looks like these two lovebirds are entering a long-term relationship. Jamie Anderson, women’s snowboarding slopestyle superstar, has just signed with Billabong for another three years.
This past year was arguably Anderson’s most successful yet; winning pretty much every slopestyle event she competed in, claimed her second TTR World Title by beating out halfpipe phenom Kelly Clark, was crowned the overall Winter Dew Tour Champ and last, added another gold medal to her collection from the European X Games. Did we miss anything?
The South Lake Tahoe local has been the face of Billabong for a while now and is only planning on bigger things in the future – one being the expansion of her signature outerwear line, the Jamie Anderson collection, to a “broader street wear market”.
According to Billabong, Anderson, “will be focusing more on her backcountry riding and she will also try her hand at qualifying for the 2014 Olympics in Russia. Jamie will be enjoying some down time at home this summer but will start competing again at the Burton Open in New Zealand in August.”
Still young and thriving at the age of 20, Jamie is sure to be around for some time to come; and not only just be around but hanging out at the top. Congrats to her for one hell of a season and many to come.
