My Mountain High: Pro Snowboarder Cory Cronk on his SoCal Home

 By Ryan Dunfee

Cory Cronk, originally from Phelan, California, got his start snowboarding in junior high at Mountain High and never found a reason to leave, owing to the riding, vibe, and crew he gets to shred with there. Staying focused and following his dreams, Cory found himself living the professional snowboarding life, and has since filmed incredible jib-heavy video parts for Finger On Da Trigger, Mountain High, and his own film company, KTG (Killing The Game). While he still spends plenty of time jibbing at the highest level, he is also now teaching his daughter Cashlyn how to shred, showing her the ropes over on East Mountain.

Place to ski on a Powder Day: Best place on a pow day would be the East Resort, there is a lot of good steep runs over there.

Place to get snacks for the powder day backpack: There is a local store called Jensen’s in town, you can get all your snacks right there.

Place to ski on a spring day: The West Resort is the best place to ride in the spring — you will find a lot of park features and a bunch of open runs.

Place to take the family skiing: The East Resort I feel is the best for the family. I take my three-year old daughter there to snowboard all the time!

Place for Dinner: Mexico Lindo is the spot for dinner.
